MEET DR. SUZANNE HAGLER

Dr. Hagler earned her MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and then completed her residency in Pediatric Neurology at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.  It was during residency that she realized her passion for treating patients with headaches. Recognizing the unmet need in this field, she then completed her fellowship in Headache Medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.  She is dual board certified in both Neurology, with Special Qualification in Child Neurology; as well as in Headache Medicine.

She served as director of the Headache Program at Nicklaus Children's Hospital for 7 years before opening her own practice.  Her mission has always been to help her patients, and having experienced the frustrations of the traditional medical system, she chose to step outside of the system and start a different kind of practice.  

Dr. Hagler is a member of both the American Headache Society and the Southern Headache Society. She is actively involved in both societies, attending annual educational conferences.  She stays up to date on all current research so that she can bring the most modern approach to her patients. In her practice she combines this scientific knowledge with a holistic approach to the patient.  Her approach combines lifestyle strategies, psychological interventions, supplements, medication, procedures and neuromodulation devices.

As someone who has suffered from migraines, Dr. Hagler understands the impact headaches can have on a person’s life.  As a parent herself, she also understands how difficult it can be to see your child in pain, and how important it is to help get them back to their normal lives as soon as possible.  It is her empathy and her passion for her work that make her unique within this challenging field.

When away from the office, Dr. Hagler enjoys exercising, lifting weights, playing tennis, swimming, going to the beach, attending concerts and broadway shows, and spending time with her husband Eli and their four children.
